Café Tortonifue founded in 1858 on Avenida de Mayo. Galerías Pacífico is always a good idea if you want to go shopping in the city of Buenos Aires. The building was built in 1899 with the intention of housing a department store, that is why its construction can be reminiscent of classics such as Harrod’s, Gath & Chaves; but the original idea was never assumed.
It spent years being the headquarters of the facilities of the National Museum of Fine Arts, the offices of the Buenos Aires al Pacífico Railroad and some abandoned, until it was recovered in the nineties to bring it to its current state.

The Ateneo Grand Esplendid Library is located in the old Grand Splendid cinema theater, a building from the early twentieth century, located in the Recoleta neighborhood.
